The Mussafah facility runs dedicated bays for mechanical repair, bodywork, paint, and high-voltage work. A separate insulated area isolates Ultium pack service from general mechanical traffic.
Equipment includes four-post lifts rated to 5,500 kg, a downdraft paint booth curing at 60°C, a laser wheel alignment rig rated to 4,500 kg, and the GM MDI 2 diagnostic interface with GDS2 and Tech2Win. Air conditioning service uses a recovery station handling both R-134a and R-1234yf.
Capability spans a 1992 H1 with the 6.5L Detroit Diesel through to a current EV 3X. Lift capacity and bay height clear the 2,007 mm roofline of an H2 and the 86.5-inch track width of an H1.
